Kim Sae Ron, Nam Da Reum, and Yoo Seon Ho grow fondness and chemistry while filming for The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim.
The cast and production team of The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim revealed what to expect in the recent drama presentation. The well-known child actors Kim Sae Ron and Nam Da Reum feature their experiences as the main character.
Led by Director Park Ho Jin, he mentions a possible sequel of the series. He stated, “I think there is a need for the second season. Leading characters are students now, but they will encounter more issues and develop more stories in the future.” Park also expounded how the story focuses more on humanity and coming-of-age experiences for teens.
“If viewers love the first season, I will definitely agree to a second season.” Director Park Ho Jin added.
The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim narrates the story of the thrilling journey of high schoolers. Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron) is an 18-year-old who bravely accepts her fate to fight evil spirits.
On the other, Na Woo So (Nam Da Reum) grew up with privileges with good looks and academic performance. When he met Ga Doo Shim, he gains the ability to see evil spirits and joins her fate.
Kim Sae Ron also says she feels connected to the series as she read the script. She is comfortable about putting on high-school uniforms again for her comeback drama after two years.
“Even though it’s a story about witchcraft, I feel more connected to humanity and emotional aspects. I was hooked to the script as soon as I started to read it”.
On the other hand, Nam reveals he feels the weight of portraying the lead role. When asked about working with Kim who is two years older than him, he said, “She really takes care of me (Kim Sae Ron). Since we have both been acting since adolescence, we share and discuss a lot of frustrations and experiences on the set.”
Furthermore, Director Park shares what makes their chemistry realistic. “Cuddling is what brings them closer together,” he unveils.
On the other, Yoo Seon Ho shows his passion for acting by studying. The actor transforms into an evil spirit and also reveals bleaching his hair four times for the role.
