Here’s How To Visit Park Min Young’s Holiday House In “Love In Contract”
Love In Contract Opening Week Highlights
Choi Sang-eun (Park Min Young) has spent her youth and determination in completing her goal to free herself from the monetary agreement she set with Yoo Mi-ho (Jin Kyung).
Working as a pretend-wife to her clients, she follows a strict contract. Even though her divorce grade card is a bit high for a woman in her early 30s; she is fixated to proceed with her mission and dream.
Her life constant is the friendship she shared with former client Gwang-nam (Kang Hyoung Suk) with whom she shares her place.
For the last five years, she is also in a long-term marriage contract with Jung Ji-ho (Go Kyung Pyo) with whom she shares Monday-Wednesday-Friday dinners.
“My dream is to meet a man who doesn’t know anything about me in a new country and be in a relationship that is 100% love without a need for marriage.”
Reaching the last amount of money to emancipate herself from her former female butler, Yoo Mi-ho; she agrees with Gwang-nam to move to Canada to follow their dream.
That dream is to meet someone in a new place and build a relationship based entirely on love, without signing a marriage contract.
Proceeding with their preparations, Sang-eun struggles to inform her long-term client Ji-ho that their contract is bound to end.
To her surprise, Ji-ho proposes it first. Using her professionalism as an excuse, she insists on finishing the remaining days of the contract.
Unknown to Mi-ho, top Hallyu star Kang Hae-jin (Kim Jae Young) who is Ji-ho’s new neighbor has harbored a long-running fondness for her. He is also the youngest son of an uber-rich family, Kangjin Group, which has a past connection with Sang-eun’s family’s company.
When he sees Ji-ho acting suspiciously, and notices something odd in the married couple, he tried to warn Sang-eun. His persistence even led him to halt her from meeting Ji-ho. Interestingly, the usually robotic Ji-ho reacts unusually by asserting a territorial instinct to ward off Hae-jin’s meddling.
Love In Contract Opening Week Musings
Giving enough reasons to gravitate to Love In Contract, the series banks on the so far fascinating characters. As lively and looking normal as she can, Sang-eun’s past screams a compelling story we can definitely look forward to.
Likewise, Go Kyung Pyo did a great job of bringing a new flavor to the word stoic. Ji-ho successfully heightened our curiosity about what he really does for a living.
In his usual element of bringing the best of his character, Kim Jae Young as Hae-jin is a delightful Hallyu star and cat dad, too. Equipped with a nostalgic “unrequited first love” story with Sang-eun; viewers are in for two equally refreshing romantic worlds.
On that note, viewers can expect a shower of romance among the main leads especially since the love triangle has already announced its presence.
Each character presented has an intriguing back story we can’t help but root for to achieve a happy-ending development. In fact, we really have to admire the nuances the writer injected into the characters we met so far.
Moreover, the connections of the characters appear to be one of the bolstering elements in the narrative. Obviously, Mi-ho and Sang-eun have unfinished business to settle which traces to the events from the past.
Kangjin Group’s need for a person which made them recruit Mi-ho is likely another connection that will bind Hae-jin, Ji-ho and Sang-eun.
