Produced by Production SLL and C-Jes Studio, the drama is directed by Nam Ki-hoon (Kiss Sixth Sense, Voice 3, Tunnel) and penned by Roh Ji-seol.
In the drama, Jo Bo Ah (Tale of the Nine Tailed, Military Prosecutor Doberman) portrays Lee Hong-jo, a 9th-level civil servant and complaint solver at the Onju City Hall She always does her best despite suffering from complaints beyond imagination and is a person who is familiar with being alone.
As she suddenly becomes the owner of an old wooden box, she obtains a forbidden book that was thoroughly sealed 300 years ago. From there, she also holds the key to unlocking the curse of Jang Shin-yu.
Jo Bo Ah relays being fascinated by her latest role.
“I was captivated by the fresh and interesting material and the charm of the character, and at some point, I found myself blushing. Kim Rowoon (Tomorrow, The King’s Affection) transforms into Jang Shin-yu, an ace lawyer waiting for the ‘wooden box’ owner to lift the curse. He is a straightforward man with a cryptic disease. As it becomes severe, he seeks help from Lee Hong-jo, the owner of the wooden box. He is desperate to break the curse passed down from generation to generation in his family.
Rowoon, who foreshadows another compelling character expresses excitement about his new work.

Next, Ha Jun (Bad Prosecutor, Missing The Other Side) plays Kwon Jae-kyung, a charmer who also works at Onju City Hall, whom Lee Hong-jo has a crush on. He hides the scars of her identity in a sweet smile and rarely reveals his true feelings.
Then, he experiences a change of heart when he sees Lee Hong-jo and Jang Shin-yu, who seem to be getting closer.
Trusted for his solid characterizations, Ha Jun conveys happiness working with the production team and actors.

Rounding up the lead cast is Yura (Forecasting Love and Weather, Now We Are Breaking Up) playing the role of Jang Shin-yu’s lover, Yoon Na-yeon. Her real nature begins to be revealed due to her lover’s special interest in Lee Hong-jo, whom she had bullied in the past.
Yura remarks on her fascination with her latest drama.
