Behind Your Touch

Behind Your Touch Episodes 5 and 6 Highlights

Working on finding the stealer of Assemblyman Cha’s donor list, Ye-bun summons her bestie Ok-hui’s gang to create a distraction at an ongoing political debate. But she hides two crucial visions from Jang-yeol because it involves her grandfather.

Always eager to be at the forefront of Mujin’s crime scenes, Jang-yeol investigates with Chief Won on missing fish finders not just in their town but other neighborhoods.

The Bad Dog-Owner

Praying on the mountain, Shaman MacArthur stumbles on a dog buried alive. It was brought to Ye-bun. When she learns about the abuse that happened to the dog, she asks Jang-yeol to help her first catch the evil dog owner before she helps him with his case.

An impromptu evil-dog owner task force team was formed with Shaman MacArthur, Sun-woo, Ye-bun and Jang-yeol.

Sharing her visions are monotone, Jang-yeol relents to her idea to color her nails to see if it will make her visions clearer, and it does.

He also forcedly agreed to her suggestion of buying a ring and taking medicines to enhance her hands’ power. True to her theory, Ye-bun’s psychometric powers improved immensely that she could even see time stamps and freely browse past sequences.

She finds a crucial landmark and through Tofu’s guide, they find the owner.

Behind Your Touch

Fish-Finder and Underwear Thievery

Now it’s time for Ye-bun to help Jang-yeol with the missing fish-finder case. He paves the way for her to see Ali’s bum.

Unfortunately, she cannot understand his Arabic conversation with someone. Thus, Jang-yeol commands him to study Arabic, but as memorizing is not her strongest suit, her progress is bleak.

Discovering Sun-woo knows basic Arabic, she asked if he could also tutor her with Shaman MacArthur. At last, through Jang-yeol’s relentless push of her Arabic language crash course, she captured words that Sun-woo helped to translate.

She relays to Jang-yeol about Ali’s need for money because his mother is sick. Successfully rounding up the organized ring of fish finder thieves, a new thief caused problems in Mujin as it targets women’s underwear.

Unfortunately, Jang-yeol struggled to catch the thief who ran Usain-Bolt-level fast. So, he allowed Ye-bun to check on his past. Along with the clue she found related to the case, she also saw fragments of memories Jang-yeol shared with a man who seemed close to him.

With the whole town learning about the struggle of Mujin police force in catching the underwear thief, especially Jang-yeol who got two head bumps, Ok-hui ploys a solution. Her gang’s only boy member who is actually taking his wife’s spot, apparently has a lot of running practice as head of discipline at the school where he teaches.

Picking Ye-bun’s clue of who the probable thief is, he was successfully caught by Ok-hui’s gang member.

Behind Your Touch

The Plight of Seung-gil

At that same moment, Seung-gil, a man close to Jang-yeol, stabbed him unexpectedly. Witnessed by Ye-bun, Jang-yeol forbids her to report what she saw.

However, while Jang-yeol recuperates, she sees Seung-gil lurking in the hospital. She follows him but gets found out. At the rooftop, she tries to break free and also manages to touch his bottom. Ye-bun sees how he needs money to support a nun he is close with, so he joins Baek’s gang.

Revealing she saw Seung-gil, Jang-yeol insists on reporting him since he is on the wrong side. Suddenly, Seung-gil arrives covered in his own blood fighting for his life. Ye-bun touches his bum and sees how he reached that deadly state.

Behind Your Touch Episodes 5 and 6 Musings

Adorably tweaking Ye-bun’s power in this week’s episodes of Behind Your Touch, the series kept its delightful story run worth watching religiously.

It’s interesting to note that there is a lot going on individually, in this big-cast series, and yet it is easy to follow the narrative’s full picture.

We definitely need a spinoff to get more of Captain Won and Hyeon-ok’s love story.

Sun-woo’s meaningful stare at Assemblyman Cha suggests the latter could be a reason why he moved to Mujin.

While a couple of neighborhood crimes were shown this week, the drama appears preparing for more serious crimes, specifically the MeTuber’s case.

Gang Boss Baek is also introduced along with Jang-yeol’s back story. We can conclude that he’s going to raise hell against Baek for what happened to Seung-gil.

Ye-bun’s grandfather’s possession of Assemblyman Cha’s donor list is also included in what will still be shared in future episodes, along with the explanation of why he is cold on Ye-bun.

Take a rest every weekend by visiting the lively town of Mujin and its quirky characters in Behind Your Touch. International fans can watch it on Netflix.
