Let Me Be Your Knight Episode 10 Key Moments
While Tae-in celebrates Yun-ju’s birthday together, he attempts to win his heart again, but she refuses. All the while, they are not aware that Shin and Ji-yeon are going viral because of their dating scandal. Insisting on Yun-ju thinking over first, she was not able to give a rebuttal because of an urgent call from CEO Moon.
“Where are they, are they eloping?”
Back at the radio station, the media people swarmed the building. Ji-yeon urges Shin to leave since her agency will be sending someone over to help.
Worried about Ji-yeon, Shin sneaks out of the elevator to look for her and finds her slumped on the stairs after the reality of her situation sinks in. As soon as she felt Shin’s warm embrace, she breaks down and cry. Aimlessly, they then escape the hounding press people and ponder on how they are going to proceed with their predicament.
While grabbing some food, Shin overhears a couple talking about their dating scandal and realizes the impact it would give on Ji-yeon. CEO Jang who finally connected to his artist relays plans of pushing to come out clean despite Shin’s agency denying the allegation.
“I’m worried about him, about LUNA and everything. But I can’t do anything.”
Pondering on their situation, Tae-in and Woo-yeon go for a drink while Yoo-chan and Ga-on call Shin in the hopes of him answering. After drinking, Tae-in finds Yun-ju sitting in the garden also deeply contemplating her boy problem.
Armed with alcohol, Tae-in also expresses his woes that what he said to her might scare her away. Responding to how she thinks he’s open to his feelings, he tells her that meeting her made him more honest with his emotions. He even thanks his sleepwalking for letting him meet her.
“If you feel miserable in the slightest, I’ll let you go anytime.”
Bringing out the elephant in the room, Shin and Ji-yeon enter an arboretum that is not yet opened. Feeling each other’s presence, they momentarily forget their current problem. On their very first daytime outdoor date, Ji-yeon decides they should end their relationship for good.
Using Shin’s promise that he would let her go if she feels miserable, he painfully accepts her wish for them to break up.
“I’m going to put everything back in its rightful place.”
When it rains, it pours – at LUNA’s dorm, it’s badly flooding. Yoo-chan’s meddling mom informs her son that she would pay CEO Moon a visit. Rushing to stop his mom, he pleads with her to stop minding his affairs. However, his money-loving mom is set for him to move to a different agency and resume acting projects.
When Shin returns to the dorm, Yoo-chan nags at his action. Tae-in mediates the tension by letting Shin rest first but it made Yoo-chan unhappy.
Ga-on appeases Yoo-chan and shows Ji-yeon already made a move to deny the rumor. She also meets with CEO Jang to terminate her contract.
Meanwhile, CEO Moon calls Yun-ju to his office to explain how she needs to leave early since LUNA is still in a tight situation because of Shin’s scandal.
Yun-ju meets with Ba-reun with a heavy heart. She tells her that she would rectify the problem she caused. Realizing she was followed by the gangster from Ba-reun’s cafe, Woo-yeon helps Yun-ju hide. She also learns that he has long known her secret.
Woo-yeon assures her that he understands her situation and it does not make her a bad person. Worrying about how her lies went out of control, he tells her that Tae-in will understand since he changed for the better because of her.
Finally decided to reveal her lies, Yun-ju looks for Tae-in. Unknown to her, he meets with an old friend who is coincidentally her twin’s patient.
Let Me Be Your Knight Episode 10 Musings
Job well done for JR, Yoon Jisung and Donghyun for their remarkable commitment to their acting challenge in Let Me Be Your Knight. This episode, in particular, leaned more to present their efforts in displaying the small and big moments of their characters.
Additionally, this episode flashbacked on how Shin has been dead set on Ji-yeon for years truly validating that his love is real. Unfortunately, as public figures, their romance is deemed unacceptable.
Not minding what other people would say is futile. Inevitably, it will hurt both of them and their careers. While they are both trying to protect each other, they are also hurting each other.
From the perspectives of Ji-yeon and Yun-ju, we can relate to how accepting love is not easy. They both think they are not good enough for the men professing their unwavering love.
Woo-yeon accepting to let go of his one-sided love and giving her the encouragement she needs has made us love him even more.
Aptly ripe for Yun-ju’s secret to be revealed, the loose ends will be tied up eventually in the last two episodes. Hopefully, Tae-in’s expected rage subsides fast. Episode 11 hints at how Sun-ju will also discover her sister’s plight.
Along with that, Shin and Yoo-chan’s animosity is escalating as seen on the next episode preview. We can only hope they can patch things up.
Down the last stride, we hope LUNA and Yun-ju get the best of both their career and romantic worlds.
