Let Me Be Your Knight Episode 8 Key Moments

Yun-ju’s twin is back in Korea, and she was even spotted by Woo-yeon. Processing what he saw, he holds his curiosity and brings her to eat breakfast. At that same moment, Tae-in also waits at the dorm with his prepared food.

Mentioning how they met before at an old book store on a rainy day, Yun-ju was surprised to know how they first met. Back at the dorm, Tae-in panics why she has not arrived yet.

Calling the hotel, he sees her with Woo-yeon and is unhappy that she forgot what he told her last night. His anger heightens learning she ate breakfast with Woo-yeon when he spent all morning preparing a meal for her.

To appease Tae-in, she brings her concocted cup of milk with honey. However, he remains cold. Later, he steps out and his stare lingers finding her asleep holding a plushy.

“I’ve never seen Yoon Tae-in behave like that.”

LUNA members meet with the agency manager to discuss their album plans. CEO Moon also gets the report on Tae-in’s progress and is happy of the result since almost one month of Yun-ju’s work is almost done.

Meanwhile, LUNA’s vivacious labelmate Nina has come back after her album preparation in the US. She drags the boys and Yun-ju to the beach to have some fun, and surely they all did.

Yun-ju chats with Nina who revealed she has been friends with Tae-in for a while. They use to study together and she proudly claims she’s his first fan. That makes Yun-ju thinks that Nina could be the person who inspired Tae-in to do music.

Acquiescing to his mom’s lunch request, Yoo-chan got surprised to see a renowned entertainment company CEO. Politely refusing a movie offer, CEO Jang blurts about his fallback plan in the future. The same CEO also pressures Ji-yeon to take on roles against her initial desire to work on independent film.

“Can you stay by my side even though I’ve gotten better?”

Finding Tae-in immersed in composing, Woo-yeon reminds him of how Yun-ju is almost done with her treatment plan. Realizing the imminent departure of the doctor he has grown accustomed to be with, Tae-in looks for her.

When he sees her, he asks if she can stay putting her on a déjà vu of the same drunken words he said that made her heart flutter. But before her heart could even leap, he remarks to take it as an extra service breaking the love spell. She responds leaving for good as soon as her contract expires.

Going full blast with their glamping trip, the boys grill meat. Unknown to Nina, who keeps hovering on Tae-in, Ga-on and Yun-ju are unhappy with her fawning. She forces her way to grill the meat furiously. Shin’s relaxing day ends when another labelmate, Hyobin, arrives without being invited. He straightforwardly declines her affection confessing he likes someone already.

At night, spotting Yun-ju and Woo-yeon sitting side-by-side, Tae-in also settles beside her. When Ga-on and Yoochan fell out of balance, they bump on a hot pot. Woo-yeon shields Yun-ju for the spill, but Tae-in holds the pot in place realizing too late what he did. He then hilariously fell on the nearby pool surprising all the people.

“You wouldn’t feel embarassed when you’re with me and the guys. Usually, you don’t even care.”

Nina finds Tae-in and gives him a cup of warm tea. Snooping about his unusual reaction of saving Yun-ju, he denies it was a natural thing to do. His reaction was witnessed by Yun-ju from afar. Hearing she’s just a doctor for him, faint tears well in her eyes.

Walking back to her room, she felt totally dejected but she keeps convincing herself that she’s just there to earn money. However, she was not able to hear Tae-in’s full confession of how he can’t get her out of his mind.

While contemplating her emotions, Yun-ju receives a message from Tae-in to meet. She lets her listen to his new composition that basically encapsulates their moments together. After his serenade, he sits beside her, admitting he likes her.

Responding how he might be leading her again, then forgetting it later; Tae-in scoops a kiss to seal his love confession.

Let Me Be Your Knight Episode 8 Musings

The hero of Let Me Be Your Knight sure knows how to play clutch when needed. It’s hard to resist that sweet serenade, to be honest. Still, given the lie Yun-ju did, it could hinder her decision to accept it.

While the pressing concern about the probability of Sun-ju learning her twin is using her identity, we can wait for it to be resolved in the coming episodes. As seen on the next episode preview, Woo-yeon is on it. Knowing his character, I’m sure he will back her up once he learned Yun-ju’s story.

Hopefully, Sun-ju still has an ounce of care for her sister if she gets to know what happened. She seems as not as cold-blooded as she seems towards her twin as seen faintly when she saw a pair of twins.

A looming storm is on the horizon for Shin and Ji-yeon. There’s no way the immature and heartbroken Hyo-bin will let them be happy after being at the front seat of their hidden love affair.

Likewise, Yoochan has to confront the offer by CEO Jang. We’re so waiting for his character growth of politely telling his mom that he can pilot his life on his own.
