Oh My Ladylord Episodes 09 & 10 Peak Points

“So don’t tell your mom what you witnessed. Your mom has a few months left to live after all.”

Bi-soo confirmed with his mom about the father who raised him not being his birth father. It explains the cold treatment he has received from him. Knowing his infidelity secret wearies Bi-soo’s heart, torn to reveal his mom’s disappointing act now that she only has a few days to live.

Even his newfound adoration with Joo-in can’t calm his emotions. Learning Bi-soo didn’t show up to his date with Joo-in, Yu-jin asks Joo-in to make her decision already. But she tells her friend to wait a little more.

In another confrontation with his father, he asks him to spill his real intention. True to what he deduced, his unfaithful father even dared to request for him to back him up in his goal of becoming the hospital director. He declares not going to help him, but his father is confident that he will eventually do it.

Bi-soo’s frustration escalates and when Joo-in tries to help, he inadvertently touches her own wounds. After a visit of his wife chiding on his unacceptable attitude to her child, Bi-soo’s stepdad again pushes Bi-soo to his limit causing him to lose his voice temporarily because of extreme emotional trauma.

“I was scared that I won’t be able to speak again. There’s a lot of things I want to tell you. I really like you Oh Joo-in.”

Realizing her worry about Bi-soo stems from the love she already feels, Joo-in came clean to her boss and reveals who she really likes and that she lives with him too. When Bi-soo learns how Joo-in confessed to her boss, he was not happy because it would hurt her career. At that moment though, he was able to find his voice again.

Mutually acknowledging their feelings, Bi-soo and Joo-in embark on their newfound love story. However, the mysterious man appeared in front of Bi-soo again warning him that he will vanish in 49 days.

He was also asked to leave Joo-in’s house through his agency CEO since Joo-in will be put in a bad light once their relationship will be revealed. His situation does not get any better as what the mysterious man told him comes true.

A talk with his mom makes him realize to confront his issue heads on instead of being unreasonably grumpy toward Joo-in who does not know about his woes.

Making up with another date, Bi-soo was reminded of the mysterious man’s words that he will vanish in front of Joo-in on the day they are supposed to meet. But he still pushes for it, and true to the warning, he really was not seen by his woman.

“I brought you here to change the bad memories into good ones.”

Still patient on Bi-soo’s moods, Joo-in accepts his apology anew and they go on a date to create beautiful memories together. He gifts her a necklace that she can rub on when she worries about something.

Spending quite an eventful day, Joo-in makes Bi-soo promise to stay by her side. Unable to say his situation, he can only respond with a hug.

Oh My Ladylord Episodes 9 & 10 Musings

True that Oh My Ladylord is the only drama in my recap selection decided out of fangirl love. Despite the evident shallow plot and now turning vague conflict, I’m still blindly tuning in to the series each week. Probably because it’s a chill watch with engagingly sketched characters.

I was expecting something about momentous on the love admittance scene, but because we don’t even know what’s happening this week, I just forego it. Oh My Ladylord has been collecting problems with a smile. Thus, making it hard for me to question its steering. I will save all the drawbacks I’ve been stacking up as well in my review. *wink

This week also cuts the love triangle, and much as we feel bad for Yu-jin, we can totally understand Joo-in. Hopefully, the friendship will remain the same.

The next episodes would most likely make things clearer for what we see in this week’s episode.
