Young-do got hospitalized and decided to end his relationship with Da-jung in the 12th episode of You Are My Spring.
Moreover, the killer in Ian’s house was revealed along with the relationship of Ga-young and Patrick.

You Are My Spring Episode 12 Key Moments
“You can’t be a psychiatrist if you’re going to keep this up. You’re carrying all your patients and even the dead ones on your shoulders and forcing yourself to endure it.”
When Young-do gets out of his car, he was hospitalized. His doctor keeps saying that he should lessen his stress in his job as a psychiatrist.
“This will be much interesting than trying to find out if that 18-year-old boy was you or your dead brother. Now, both of you twins have become murderers.”
On the other side, a hidden camera in Ian’s room is found. The detectives watch the recorded video and saw the man behind the death of Ms. Noh.
When Ian collapsed on the floor, he called Ms. Noh. After getting the call, Ms. Noh rushes to Ian’s room and she was killed by the man.
However, the man behind the murder was bumped by a car adding a new mystery on who caused him to be dead.
“How long do we need to lie to everyone?”
A piece of news spreads that Ga-young and Patrick are dating. Many fans and netizens are not happy with this. They say that Ga-young is too old and she is a divorced woman.
Patrick goes to Ga-young and says that they should still keep their relationship. She points out that there is no other choice but to lie to everyone.
“If you can admit that you’re regretful, then you’re actually on the healthy side. Just stay healthy, and be there for her.”
In the last episode, Young-do visits Gangenung because he is worried about Da-jung. Sitting beside the sea, Mi-ran (Da-jung’s mom) talks to him.
She opens up to Young-do that she falls hard and regretted the things that she felt once.
Da-jung’s mom says to Young-do that he should remain on Da-jung’s side for a long time. She also said that he should not be sick.
“They say you can’t control who you fall in love with, but there are times when your greed blinds you and causes problems.”
Even though Young-do is at the hospital, he still finds time to go to Da-jung’s workplace to talk about how her day went.
Happily, Da-jung narrates what she did all day with Young-do listening intently to her.
“I promised myself to do my utmost best to live as long as I could., but now, now that I’ve fallen for someone, even if your heart is sick, you don’t feel pain there.”
In the coffee shop, Ha-neul, Eun-ha, Chul-do, and Seung-won are arguing whether to tell Da-jung that Young-do is at the hospital.
Eun-ha keeps insisting that they should tell her because she deserves to know. Suddenly, she enters the coffee shop, and Eun-ha informs Da-jung that Young-do is sick.
“What have I doing all this time? Was I the only one hanging onto our relationship? Had my arms given out or my hands slipped, would you have let go as well?”
When Da-jung came to the hospital, she saw Young-do talking to detective Jin-Bok. She heard that Young-do plans to break up with her, and this leaves her broken.
“Mom, I came to like him too much. My heart breaks for him.”
Heartbroken, Da-jung went home and called her mother. She cries so hard because she fell hard to Young-do, and he wanted to end their relationship because he is sick.
“I wish I didn’t have any feelings. I wish they all shriveled up. I wish they all died.”
Ending the episode, Young-do texted Da-jung if she can come down to his clinic however, she responded for him to come up to the rooftop.
When Young-do came to the rooftop, he acts cold and ends the relationship. Da-jung cries, but Young-do just leaves her.
You Are My Spring Episode 12 Musings
Watching this episode, I think my heart also got broken by what happened. I believe that Young-do also falls hard on Da-jung, but he is scared to continue their relationship because he is sick.
The situation also has a big hold on Da-jung because after all, Young-do came when she was helpless. Their personality fits together and I hope that they can make their relationship works.
Meanwhile, I was intrigued by the man who wants to kill Ian, more or like holds a grudge against him. His name isn’t revealed, but I was shocked when a car bumped him and leave him all bloody.
Right now, I truly empathized and almost cried because of Da-jung. She deserves a man who will love him truly, and this fits Young-do. I just hope that Young-do would pursue Da-jung again and would not leave her side for a long time.
