After their break-up, Da-Jung and Dong-Wook try so hard to stay away from each other but their love asks for a second chance in the latest episode of You Are My Spring.
Even though heartbroken, both Da-jung and Dong-Wook continued with their lives. Meanwhile, the secret between Ian Chase and his twin has been unveiled.

You are my Spring Episode 13 Key Moments
“I was a proof that falling in love with the wrong person will complicate life, like the little mermaid.”
After their break-up, Da-jung’s mom visits her daughter and gave her a shoulder to cry on.
Da-jung asks her mom why do people fall in love. Her mom said that we need a bigger purpose than just eating, sleeping, and working.
“We can’t always find the right time for everything in life.”
Mi-Ran (Da-Jung’s mother) invites Dong-Wook to a meal. She apologizes for the thing she said about not being sick.
Dong-Wook also asks Mi-ran how is Da-jung. She honestly said that Da-jung cried like a baby.
“It’s hard to be with him, but at home, it will be hard because I’m not with him.”
When the father of Eun-Ha and Chul-Do visits the Gugu Building, all the tenants are invited for a meal.
Da-jung, together with their friends are happily conversing, then the atmosphere suddenly changed when Young-do came.
Da-jung felt tensed and uncomfortable and decides to leave the dinner.
“This is what breaking up means, you can’t help me even if you want to. You can’t worry about me even if you’re worried. And even if you’re the only person who I can share a joke and laugh with, I can’t do that anymore.”
Furthermore, Dong-Wook is invited to a wedding, but he doesn’t want to go because the venue is the hotel where Da-jung works.
Seung-won assures Dong-wook that the venue is just outside the hotel.
Meanwhile, Da-jung happened to work even though she’s on a day off. While she was running an errand, she sees Dong-wook along the way.
Da-jung remarks they should stay away from each other and not make more any memories so that they can move on.
“Anything can kill you, a glass of liquor, or even a sip of coke. If you don’t kill yourself, the next body will be found on the fourth floor of Gugu Building.”
Detective Jin-Bok goes to the murderer’s house and sees papers hidden on the ceilings.
It is a compilation of three murders that Jung-Min might have committed. It also matches the method of operation of the murderer when he was killing his victims.
A flashback happens where the teenage Ian Chase gave a book about a murder to a man. Moreover, he gave the man lots of money.
Ending the flashback, Ian talks to his twin and said that the people who did bad to them have been taken care of and that he would be a doctor.
“Staying away is the only thing I can do for him.”
Ga-young, Eun-ha, and Da-jung engage again to a girl’s day out. Ga-young opens the topic about Young-do to Da-jung.
Da-jung said that he has been there for her during her hard times, but she couldn’t do anything to relieve the pain that Young-do is feeling.
The only thing that she can do is to stay away from him so that he wouldn’t have a hard time.
“I desperately want to and I miss her like crazy.”
Meanwhile, Young-do, Ha-neul, and Seung-won also go for their own brotherhood time. Seung-won sets up a camera where their conversations can be recorded.
Ha-neul asks Young-do if he wants to go back to Da-jung. He admits that he misses her crazy, but then Seung-won sends the recorded video of Young-do to Da-jung.
“If you meant it, can you come here?”
Da-jung goes to the spot where she and Young-do did crazy things during a winter night.
When she opened her phone, she watches the video and cries. Da-jung couldn’t stop herself and calls Young-do.
Ending the episode, Da-jung asks Young-do to come if he wants to try again and save their relationship. Young-do rushes to his car and goes to Da-jung.
Teary-eyed, Young-do runs to Da-jung and kisses her again.
You Are My Spring Episode 13 Musings
I find this episode a special ingredient where Da-jung and Young-do realized they truly love each other. Even though they wanted to stay away as much as possible, their love made a way for them to get back together.
Their love story also happens to other couples, especially at a time when they needed to break up.
I’m happy that Young-do wanted to get back to Da-jung again because I think Da-jung would help him a lot.
Moreover, they deserve each other and the happiness they felt when they are together are healing moments for both of them.
Meanwhile, I was shocked that Ian Chase and his twin are together during their youth. Ian seems to want to get revenge on the people who did wrong to them.
Their story is quite vague at the moment, but I’m hoping that their end game would be clearer in the next episodes. I was confused if Ian is the real murderer or it is still the man that detective Jin-Bok caught.
Nevertheless, I am glad that the episode ended happily, and I am looking forward that Da-jung and Young-do would have a stronger relationship.
