The whale couple of hit series Extraordinary Attorney Woo is officially dating!
Taking time to familiarize themselves with their new relationship, they agree to go on dates in the 10th episode of the series.
In one of those couple activities to do that Woo Young-woo (Park Eun Bin) listed down, she together with her new beau Jun-ho (Kang Tae Oh) visited Deoksugung Stone Wall Path.
Sharing a trivia about how couples who walk together down the street break up, Jun-ho panics at what Young-woo just said. She then explains how the saying originated in how couples walk on the street to reach the Seoul Family Court which is in the North direction of the pathway before.
The scene featuring Deoksugung Stone Wall Path also marks Jun-ho’s sincere intention that he means to protect his relationship with Young-woo regardless of what other people may say. Bumping on his friends, he informed them that he is on a date with Young-woo proudly declaring that he genuinely likes her regardless of her autism.
Visit Korea describes Deoksugung Stone Wall Path as Korea’s first successful attempt at creating a comprehensive urban space where both people and nature can coexist.
The street was built using eco-friendly materials and the utmost precautions were taken to ensure pedestrian safety. There are over 20 benches and 130 trees along the road offering great places to rest and enjoy the unique atmosphere. It stretches approximately 900 meters in length.
Walking along Deoksugung Stone Wall Path is a memorable experience. The romantic street is an ideal date spot for couples to go on a “walking date” while exploring Korean culture since the street covers nearby museums and important historical complexes.
Interestingly, there are a few Korean dramas that highlighted this pathway with scenes of the lead pairings enjoying a romantic walk. TIP: It is especially stunning in autumn.
