Curious about what Chang-ho said, Joo-hee asks Mayor Choi if she misheard Chang-ho calling him Cho Sung-hyun. Responding to his wife, Mayor Choi assures Joo-hee of telling her everything after Chairman Kang’s funeral.
Ji-hoon meets Attorney Jung, and grabs the late chairman’s will. Asked to modify the chairman’s will, Attorney Jung refuses Ji-hoon’s request.
Since the chairman passed away, Ji-hoon ignores and gets ready to ditch Chang-ho calling for his election preparations.
In the parking lot, Ji-hoon panics with cars about to crash and hit him. Coming out of the car, Chang-ho warns him of the chairman’s will and their withdrawn support.
Confident and excited about the will to be read, Ji-hoon becomes surprised by the changed executor of the will with the information that the will was revised the week before the chairman died.
Joo-hee and Mayor Choi are the only ones included in the will, so they leave early while the rest are protesting.
“Don’t worry about what others think. We have to stand tall.”
Mi-ho secretly receives a call from the hospital about her blood test, and gets advised to take further tests.
In their car, Mayor Choi pretends to feel undeserving of the chairman’s will compared to Joo-hee.
Angered about the will, Ji-hoon realizes he needs Chang-ho. Desperate for it, he begs Chang-ho who ignores him the same way he did.
However, Chang-ho gives in and informs Ji-hoon about Cho Sung-hyun stealing the identity of Choi Do-ha. Promising he could take down Mayor Choi fairly, Chang-ho asks Ji-hoon to make him the mayor of Gucheon.
Meanwhile, Joo-hee assures Mayor Choi that she has no doubts about him and is ready to support him on his new plans of running in Gucheon again while abandoning his race for the national assembly.
Announcing his plans to the media, Mayor Choi renders his re-election for the people of Gucheon, but Chang-ho sees through it. Chang-ho improves his campaign strategies, and sees his ratings rise.
Meanwhile, Mi-ho visits the hospital alone. She hears that she has stage four lymphoma and needs chemotherapy.
“When you’re considerate of each other, you end up lying now and then and stuff like that.”
Celebrating Chang-ho’s rising ratings, Mi-ho catches up and proposes a toast for her husband.
Walking by the beach together, Mi-ho and Chang-ho discuss the lies they had during their married life. Sharing her awareness of one of Chang-ho’s lies, Mi-ho admits she and her father knew about Chang-ho being the new big mouse.
With that, she voices her wish of her husband being the good big mouse. Through a telepathy game, they reminisce about their happiest moment, which is the day Chang-ho opened his law office.
Despite exposing the mayor on their group chat, Ji-hoon gets abandoned by the NR Forum. Joo-hee threatens Ji-hoon with being removed as CEO and public shame. She fully defends Mayor Choi, stating her awareness of her husband’s real identity.
Going to Chang-ho, Ji-hoon hands him useful information from the NR forum to attack Choi Do-ha. Asked if the late chairman has family, Ji-hoon tells Chang-ho about Chairman Kang’s son in the US.
Although hesitant, Ji-hoon vows his willingness to contact the late chairman’s son to decrease the power of Joo-hee and Mayor Choi.
Calling Prosecutor Choi to look for the son of Chairman Kang, Ji-hoon tells how the son got cut off in the family for being a serial killer. Not covered in the news, Ji-hoon reveals someone else went to jail for the chairman’s son.
“Do you know what the scariest thing is? Exposing that thing you call the truth, but the world not changing at all.”
Kwang-hyun, the inmate labeled as a psychopath, passes away in the hospital. Before passing away, Mi-ho comforts him with a lie that his mother received a bone marrow transplant.
Thanking Mi-ho, Kwang-hyun’s sister reveals that her brother stood place in prison for a rich serial killer.
Angered by what happened, Mi-ho storms at Joo-hee’s office. Challenging Mi-ho’s beliefs, Joo-hee guarantees despair in a world that does not change despite the truth being exposed.
Visiting Chang-ho who is busy preparing for the debate at night, Mi-ho speaks of her wish of spending more time together while slightly tearing up.
Choi Do-ha orchestrates with the prosecution and TV studio on staining Chang-ho’s standing by bringing back his past as a lawyer with a low winning rate.
Confirmed that it was all Do-ha’s strategies even in past elections, Chang-ho remains determined in participating in the debate.
On the other hand, Mi-ho works with Jerry and Chairman Yang’s men in infiltrating the suspicious fish farm that has pipes leaking chemicals.
Big Mouth Episode 15 Musings
With an angelic face posing as a righteous figure, Choi Do-ha could make your blood boil. Kim Joo Hun proves how effective his acting is as his character embodies a politician who fools people.
Although Ji-hoon was inherently evil and greedy, he is more likable than Mayor Choi because he knows when to bow down. He efficiently serves his purpose in assisting Chang-ho’s race.
Shocking discoveries didn’t stop with exposing ‘big mouse’, for this episode completes the story of Kwang-hyun, the labeled psychopath inmate. He turns out to be a stand-in for the son of Chairman Kang, the real serial killer.
From the earlier episodes up to now, a lot of immorality and corruption have been exposed and clarified. Mi-ho as Chang-ho’s wife has contributed a lot to exposing the truth.
It’s saddening how a lot of lives have been lost in the process, and Mi-ho is also at risk of losing hers as she gets affected by the chemical leak. Anticipating the last episode, viewers shall look forward to the final fight for justice and what awaits Chang-ho with Mi-ho whose days are numbered.
