From Now On, Showtime! Episode 6 Key Moments
Seul-hae’s Heartbreak
After their operation with the drug issue, Seul-hae gave thanks to Cha-Woong for his help. When Seul-Hae is looking for a kit, she saw a photo frame of Cha-Woong’s grandfather and recognizes that he is the shaman.
She is shocked and leaves Cha-Woong’s house immediately. This bothers her even during her duties and she keeps spacing out. Later on, she confronts Cha-Woong about it and they had misunderstandings.
Seul-Hae blames Cha-Woong’s grandfather for his father’s death and didn’t give him a chance to explain what happened ten years ago. The General Spirit wants to retell the story about this but he’s having a hard time communicating with Seul-hae since he is a ghost.
With the help of A-Reum, she invented a device that can transmit sound waves from the ghosts and interpret them. Using this device, the ghosts went to Seul-hae’s house and the General Spirit starts his story of what happened years ago.
The Shaman & Detective Ko Young Sik
Ten years ago, Detective Ko (Seul-Hae’s father) is currently handling the case of the full moon murderer. Meanwhile, Sa-Geum (Cha-Woong’s grandfather) is looking for an evil spirit that can possess other people.
Together, they team up along with Detective Ko’s co-officer, Hoe-Do. While they are searching the forest, they saw a man that is doing some ritual on a girl that is tied up.
Sa-Geum knows that the evil spirit possesses the man. He starts to fight the man with enchanting words and tries to seal the evil spirit. When Sa-Geum already sealed the evil spirit, the spirit continues to whisper and give instructions to the man.
Since they are all tired from the battle, the man picks up a big rock and smashed it into Detective Ko’s head which causes his death.
Meanwhile, Hoe-Do is very scared but he shot the man and he fell into the water. The problem is that the man is holding the canister where the evil spirit is sealed off.
Rising-Chaos
Ever since the five fishermen disappeared mysteriously into the sea, the only man who survived wanders into the city. It’s safe to say that this man is possessed by the evil spirit that is sealed under the sea.
To conceal his identity, he kills a man and borrows clothes from him. He even cleans himself so that he won’t look suspicious. However, this man is interested in Seul-hae and he is keen to find her.
From Now On, Showtime! Episode 6 Musings
In this episode, we are enlightened on what happened years ago between Sa-Geum and Detective Ko. It’s good that the drama is fast-paced because the audience is eager to already know the truth.
It’s also nice that Cha-Woong and Seul-hae cleared the misunderstandings about the cause of the death of Seul-hae’s father. Now that they are free from all the misconceptions about the past, we can expect a better team-up with these two.
Meanwhile, the evil spirit that Sa-Geum and Detective Ko sealed 10 years ago is back and it’s possessing the same man who is after Seul-Hae. With this, we can expect that Cha-Woong, Seul-hae, and the ghosts would face a big battle soon.
On the other hand, in the next episode, Cha-Woong and Seul-Hae are getting closer and it looks like they would start opening their hearts to each other.
