The Red Sleeve Episode 10 Key Moments

“I promised I’d keep her side until she wakes up. Stay with her on my behalf.”

Running towards one another, Lee San swiftly catches the exhausted Deok-im in his arms. He then speaks softly to Deok-im, preventing her from talking any further and allowing her to rest properly.

Because everyone is looking for the prince, Hong Deok-ro went to Deok-im and Lee San. He informs Lee San that he needs to find the traitor responsible for the treason and lead the soldiers.

Lady Seo shortly approaches them and expresses her gladness to see that the prince is safe. Lee San asks Lady Seo to stay with Deok-im on his behalf, even though he had promised to stay with her until she wakes up.

“She wants to protect her master, the Crown Prince. But she doesn’t want to betray her lifetime colleagues.”

Back at the palace, Deok-im pays a visit to Lady Seo, and then she hears Wol Hye threatening her because she has become one of them now.

Deok-im simply tells Lady Seo that she hasn’t seen her in a while and she is only stopping by during her visit to the East Palace.

Afterwards, Deok-im goes to see her friends. She informs them that the secret organization of court maids actually exists and that Lady Seo is part of it.

Continuing to converse, Deok-im believes that the Gwanghan Palace is behind the treason. However, they cannot question Lady Seo since she may not give an answer.

Considering that the Crown Prince is her master, she cannot bear betraying her lifetime companions.

“This is a secret gate to Gwanghan Palace. I did not know this gate was here. Every time I entered it, my eyes were covered.”

Secretly finding the list of members, Deok-im let Lady Seo know that Head Lady Cho was stepping out of her quarters for a little moment.

They both then search for the list in Head Lady Cho’s chambers, conscious of the likelihood that Lady Seo will be killed if the secret society is revealed.

While looking for the list, Deok-im comes upon an odd wall and pushes it, only to discover that it is the secret entrance to Gwanghan Palace.

Subsequently, Lady Seo asserts that she was unaware the gate was in Head Lady Cho’s quarters because her eyes were covered each time she entered it.

The Red Sleeve Episode 10 Musings

We have to applaud Deok-im’s courage in The Red Sleeve for putting Lady Seo’s life over her worry of being caught while searching for the list.

Who wouldn’t be afraid? If we were in their shoes, most of us would probably side with Lady Seo, as our hearts would completely stop at the prospect of sneaking inside the Gwanghan’s Palace.

Surprisingly, Head Lady Cho’s cunningness is extremely extraordinary in this episode for using the court ladies as her troops to ensure they do not betray the organization given that they have been together for a lifetime.

In the 10th episode of The Red Sleeve, we admire Lee San for admitting that he lied to his mother about not smiling for years. Apparently, he has frequently smiled broadly since meeting Deok-im.

Furthermore, Deok-im knows how to sort Lee San’s priorities even if it means setting aside her feelings for him. She wanted the prince to take the throne first and become a good king.

We only wish that we could also be as selfless as Deok-im, as she demonstrated in the 10th episode of The Red Sleeve.
