After getting back together and realizing that they truly love each other, Da-jung and Young-do reignited their relationship in the 14th episode of You Are My Spring.
Being proud of their relationship, the newly-reconciled love birds told their friends that they are back together. Meanwhile, Ian Chase revealed his childhood story to Da-jung.

You Are My Spring Episode 14 Key Moments
“You must’ve always wanted to treat me like this. It must’ve been so hard for you.”
In the last episode, when Da-jung called Young-do to give a chance to their relationship, they both realized they were significant to each other.
Opening the 14th episode, Young-do drives Da-jung to her home. He becomes sweeter to her and keeps doing the things he has wanted to do ever since.
“I don’t want to see other people’s faces, I only want to see you.”
When Da-jung and Young-do got home, they can’t hide their happiness and still talk on the phone.
He is doing a good job of making her heart flutter with much happiness.
“I’m more terrified that you might want to break up.”
Meanwhile, Ga-young worries about her relationship with Patrick, but Patrick is confident that they can keep their relationship.
She asks him if he’s isn’t afraid that their relationship would be revealed to the public. He assures her that he’s more afraid if she would leave him.
“Take care of yourself. Be happy. Don’t be too sad that I’m gone.”
These were the words that Mi-kyung (Young-do’s assistant), blurts out eight years ago when Young-do asked her what his dead husband said during his final moment.
At that time, Young-do is still an intern and he met Mi-kyung who suffers mentally.
“Don’t feel too guilty about what has happened. Live every day as if it’s your last and be happy.”
Young-do with his caring heart gives a piece of advice to Mi-kyung and these simple words comforted her.
This also made her survive and overcome one of the hardest phases of her life.
“If he was evil, I shouldn’t cry for him.”
On the other hand, Ian Chase talks to Da-jung about his twin brother. He, later on, admits that he knows Da-jung and met her when they were kids.
Ian narrates his childhood to Da-jung, that they were separated. One twin was left behind, while he was sent to the US.
” I guess your patients are so lucky to have met a doctor who’s a great listener.”
Wearing Young-do’s white coat, Da-jung asks him where do psychiatrists go when they needed therapy.
Da-jung commends Young-do because he’s a great doctor and he lends his ears to hear his patients.
“What on earth are you doing? How can you call yourself a mom? He’s just a kid. You know it’s not his fault.”
Young-do opens up again to Da-jung the time when he saw his mother crying because of his brother that is dying.
Da-jung wants to talk to Young-do’s mother and tell her that Young-do should not be blamed for what has happened to his brother.
“Maybe it all started when that trembling wildflower met a fence and was comforted by a small, round candy. I think that’s when I fell in love with you.”
One of the questions that Da-jung can’t yet answer is when did she fall in love with Young-do.
Setting up a wildflower in the middle of stones that lies on the ground, Young-do remembers he also saw the same set-up during his childhood.
When he saw this, he puts a candy beside the wallflower and looks intently at Da-jung.
Ending the episode, Young-do confesses his feelings to Da-jung, and said that he loves her. With teary eyes, Da-jung also said that she loves him, too.
You are my Spring Episode 14 Musings
One word to describe this episode is “warmth.” When I was watching the 14th episode of You Are My Spring, I can’t help but smile because of the characters’ development.
Young-do already mustered his courage to say his true feelings to Da-jung. He becomes a good model to all the boys and men on how to handle a relationship.
Young-do always thinks about Da-jung’s feelings first and is always available when she needs him. Moreover, he labeled and put a stamp on their relationship.
Meanwhile, I sympathized with the twins especially the story of Ian, that they were forced to be separated when they were still kids.
Yet, I am not satisfied with his revelations, I feel that Ian hides more secrets that we should wait for.
Furthermore, Da-jung’s answer to when she has fallen in love with Young-do was such a heartening moment.
The wallflower surrounded by rocks reminds me of Young-do that set a boundary all his life, but then in the last scene, he put a candy beside the flower that symbolizes Da-jung’s sweet presence in his world.
With two more episodes left, I am excited about how the different characters’ would grow internally, and became better individuals.
