Leaving an imprint on how important self-care is, Let Me Be Your Knight also touched on interpersonal healing.
Fleet-footed, the direction of this cohabitation rom-com series offers a conventional storyline. Admirably, the layered songs give a distinct feel.

Let Me Be Your Knight Finale Week Recap
With Yun-ju’s secret out, Yoon Tae-in struggles with his emotions feeling betrayed. Meanwhile, Ga-on misread the situation about Yoochan’s contract. As Shin and Yoochan are at odds because of the dating scandal, it caused a heated physical argument.
Leaving Tae-in alone, the members let off steam. Yun-ju also reunites with her sister Sun-ju who learned the plight she endured.
It turns out that CEO Moon’s secretary is a psychopath who harbors obsession towards Tae-in. The latter was abducted but thankfully was rescued by Yun-ju and the LUNA members.
Protecting Tae-in from the raging car of the psycho, Yun-ju had to stay in the hospital to recuperate. Accidentally confessing she likes Tae-in that’s why she protected him, the two enter mutual understanding.
Contemplating her sister’s offer to do what she wants and what she can do, Yun-ju decides to mull over her options and stay with her sister in the US.
LUNA proceeds with their comeback album with all of them participating in it. Later, Yun-ju was urged by her sister to visit their old house. Excited to know it is ready for leasing, she finds Tae-in waiting for her.
Let Me Be Your Knight Quick Plot Recap

In the process of curing his sleepwalking, he opens up to her and eventually falls in love. However, the lie she made inevitably backfires.
Let Me Be Your Knight Peak Points + Musings
Having been a part of my weekend for 11 weeks, Let Me Be Your Knight honestly does not offer a striking story, but it never let me down. Its initial premise is clear of presenting a healing journey. Choosing to not force strong romantic frames is also commendable.
As the fictional band LUNA consists of mostly idols, the balanced exposure of their individual stories is worth appreciating. They were given proper venues to showcase their small and big moments.
Moreover, the well-planned duration and narrative coordination to present the development of relationships, romantic or otherwise, make the series an easy and enjoyable watch. It made sure that while the main romance story will be highlighted, it does not forget the supporting characters.
Nicely blended with simple topics that are relatable to viewers, Let Me Be Your Knight cleverly opted not to overachieve and exaggerate the direction of the story. It is predictable, nonetheless, neat in its approach to resolving the minor conflicts and the culminating problem.
A Story Filled With Healing Moments + Amazing Music
Ultimately, the messages about letting go of past and current disappointments as seen to all of the characters highlight the resonating lessons of the series. From Tae-in’s daddy issues; Shin’s painful letting go of the woman he loves; Ga-on’s grit to dispel bad rumors about him and Yoochan’s self-impose emancipation to his mother’s meddling.
In particular, Sun-ju’s advice to Yun-ju is such a ruminative thought we can all ponder on. Doing what we want to do instead of doing what we can do. It translates to creating our own happiness versus convincing ourselves that we are.
These are thoughts people often overlook since we live in a time when we are wary of other people’s expectations of us. That being said, let Yun-ju and LUNA members be a reminder of that basic principle of how we can’t please everybody.
Modestly being true to yourself and nurturing human interactions that work best for you can be the simplest yet most life-affirming moment that you can gift yourself.
Lastly, the incorporated music in Let Me Be Your Knight is worth spending money on should an album gets publicly released. If a concert event is permissible and LUNA will host one, it’s definitely worth watching.
