The first batch of confirmed attendees was just announced by AAA 2023, and it’s definitely lit!
Kim Seon Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong and Moon Ga Young are expected to attend the 2023 Asia Artist Awards in the Philippines on December 14 at the Philippine Arena.
Presented by PULP Live World, StarNews, and TONZ Entertainment, for its 8th year, AAA shall be held in the hottest country in Southeast Asia that boasts its loudest, warmest, and biggest fan base in K-culture, the Philippines.
Considered Asia’s Oscars and Grammy Awards, AAA is a prestigious, one-of-its-kind South Korean award-giving body that recognizes artists from music, television, and film who made an outstanding impact on the Asian regions.
Previously, AAA 2023 announced the first round of K-Pop stars attending the event including NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, NMIXX, and ZEROBASEONE.
AAA 2023 also named Jang Wonyoung, Kang Daniel and ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin as hosts for the global NO.1 awards ceremony to be held in the Philippines.
Subsequently, the first round of artists set to light up the much-anticipated event is revealed by Starnews.
First, Kim Seon Ho deemed “male god” who showed off his extraordinary singing skills and eloquence, won the DCM Popularity Award and Idol Plus Popularity Award in the male actor category at 2022 AAA, as well as the Asia Celebrity Award and Best Choice Award. He captured the attention of viewers with stable performances in various works such as the dramas Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Start-Up, and Catch the Ghost. The actor is currently meeting fans in eight regions through the 2023 Kim Seon Ho Asia Tour which will continue in Singapore on September 15.
Next, Ahn Hyo Seop won the Best Actor Award at 2020 AAA praised as a versatile artist who can also sing and dance and has established himself as a trustworthy actor through his outstanding performances in Dr. Romantic 2 and 3, Business Proposal, and Lovers of the Red Sky. He recently played two roles as Yeon-jun and Si-hun in A Time Called You, showing off his unique charm and drawing keen interest from viewers.
Singer-actress Kim Sejeong, exudes a strong presence as an all-rounder entertainer who can do anything from singing to acting to entertainment. Sejeong left a lasting impression on viewers by showing off her outstanding acting skills in The Uncanny Counter 1 and 2, Today’s Webtoon, and Business Proposal. She recently resumed her singing career and released her first full-length album Moon on September 4. Additionally, she is about to embark on her first solo concert tour.
Moon Ga Young, who won the Emotional Actress category at the 2021 AAA, will also walk the red carpet at the Asia Artist Awards for the first time in two years. Moon Ga Young played the role of Ahn Soo-young, who is confused by different understandings of love, in the JTBC drama The Interest of Love and proved her high level of character synergy with her passionate performances. Moreover, she is solidifying her position with her irreplaceable acting skills and various charms in numerous works such as Link: Eat, Love, and Kill, True Beauty, and Find Me In Your Memory.
