Realizing he was fated to meet Yeon-ju then and now, Seung-wook returns her sweet drunken “I like you” declaration with the same emotion in episode 10 of One The Woman.
Saving the day, he also makes a move before Sung-hye’s ploy blows out of proportion impacting Yeon-ju and his goal. The clever move overturns the table, but the villainess will surely not sit back and mope.

One The Woman Episode 10 Key Moments
“What happened after that? I have a feeling that something important happened.”
Flashes of her alcohol-intoxicated state rush to her mind the moment Yeon-ju wakes up. But she can’t recall past the drunk kiss with Seung-wook. To make her problem worse, when she checks her phone, she also sees that she called her mother-in-law.
When she opens the door to leave for work, she sees Seung-wook about to place a hangover drink on the doorknob but moves to give it to her personally. Pondering if something important happened after the kiss, her attention goes back to Chief Prosecutor Ryu who spilled her drunk calling last night cursing him. He orders her to summon Kang Mi-na and disregard lee Bong-sik’s case.
Letting off her steam, Yu-jun joins her and listens to her nonsense ramblings as usual. He also let her know of how he shielded her by presenting useless information about Mi-na when their chief asked for it.
Seung-wook listens to his cousin blab about getting the upper hand after the merger since Mi-na’s reputation seems impacted by Bong-sik’s blacklist. Sung-hye warns that if he does not agree, things will not get better for Mi-na.
“Kang Mi-na and I are not related at all, but we look identical. Doesn’t that mean there could be someone who looks like us somewhere?”
Rushing stealthily to Lawyer No’s car, Yeon-ju reports her situation of being asked to interrogate Mi-na. Her crazy thought of finding another doppelganger somewhere made Lawyer No sigh with hopelessness.
Seung-wook also meets Ms. Kim who expressed regret for being a double agent when his father needed her the most. He assures her that it’s not entirely her fault so she should stop feeling bad about herself.
Going to business, Ms. Kim proposes the message of Chairman Han to favor him than his own daughter. She also quickly stops him from replying and promises to return his reply with no comment.
Further putting Mi-na in a bad light, Sung-hye tells Hanju employees that are protesting that Yumin Group was demanding the restructuring after the merger. Her ploy pushes the protestors to head to Yumin Group.
“You need to make a move for you to get anywhere.”
Camping in front of Yumin’s building, the protestors camp. When they recognize Yeon-ju and Lawyer No, they throw eggs causing chaos. Because of that Sung-woon pressured the police to have the perpetrator and it was assigned to the prosecutor’s office. It inevitably made Yeon-ju face the man who just throw eggs at her.
Seung-wook conspires with Chairman Han in exchange of transfer shares to stocks he owned in Yumin Electronics. His condition is to not summon Mi-na. Meanwhile, Chairman Han also sets his son Sung-woon to be the co-CEO of the Hanju hotel which made Sung-hye not happy at all.
Rushing to the hotel to meet Seung-wook, Yeon-ju finally recognized him as the boy she met 14 years ago. She remembers the exact words she said when they conversed when they were young to be the same as what he said at Hanju’s and Yumin’s merger announcement.
Earlier, Seung-wook has also deduced the same as what he remembers of the young girl, he took interest in does not match his memories of Mi-na. They finally seal their reunion with a kiss.
One The Woman Episode 10 Musings
Seung-wook has fully realized that his first love was not Mi-na but Yeon-ju. It definitely would have an impact on the story in case Mi-na returns since it was hinted that he has become Mi-na’s true love. When that time comes, hopefully, the efforts of keeping Mi-na’s inheritance safe won’t go futile.
Despite being helplessly wicked, Sung-hye’s actions are really expected given her struggle to win her father’s favor. Obviously, Chairman Han favors his son Sung-woon and interestingly the preview for the next episode looks like the beginning of his character growth for him. He appears to have become truly interested in his wife and we don’t know if he has further probed the name he found on her prescription.
Finding the real list of Bong-sik will be included in the next episodes. A round of outsmarting games is up down the stretch of the series. What’s interesting is how Han’s dysfunctional family relationship makes it unpredictable.
Now that Yeonju and Seung-wook cross the romantic line, it would also bring quite an amusement while they work together toward their united goal.
