One The Woman

One The Woman Episode 15 Series Highlights

“You see, I’ve been through a lot more than you have. You have no right to lecture me just because you are older than me.”

Reaching her vilest state Sung-hye moves to remorseless decisions. Upon realizing her new assistant is her estranged real sister-in-law, she summoned the thugs to wreak havoc. Having bad blood with Yeon-ju, their confessions surely do not favor the already suspended prosecutor.

During the ruckus, Kang Mina was also hit by one of the thugs causing her to lose consciousness. At the police station, Yeon-ju ponders on what Mina said about Sung-hye’s secret.

Cementing the blame on Yeon-ju, the investigation releases a report of how Sung-hye was protecting Mina against the impersonating prosecutor.

Prosecutor Ryu visits Yeon-ju at the station to hand the notice of her dismissal as a prosecutor. Instead of taunting how he’s on the advantageous side, he gets annoying disrespect from his mischievous junior.

One The Woman ep 15 kdramadiary

Sung-woon reports to his father that his sister was appointed as Honorary CEO infuriating Chairman Han. Chiding his son to grow his backbone right away to help him, he commands him to do his best as his messenger, while remotely managing the company through his loyal people.

However, the weakling Sung-woon can’t really muster the courage for his father’s plan. It earned him a verbal beating from his mother who was frustrated with her son’s choice to stay on the neutral side.

“There’s something about Sung-hye that not everyone knows.”

Recounting the warning he got from his sister, Sung-woon heaves a sigh while worrying about his fate. Just then, Sung-hye arrives and reminds him to do his job of managing other businesses.

The next day, Seung-wook visits Yeon-ju and they discuss Mina’s words about Sung-hye that no one knows about. Assuring her that she will get out soon, he tells her about the deal he cut with Mina’s aunt so she can drop the charges.

Reasoning that she needs to get out for Sung-hye to be stopped, she confessed that she won’t be able to do so since she was dismissed from being a prosecutor.

Meanwhile, Sung-hye humiliates Prosecutor Ryu for not executing well Yeon-ju’s case, providing a gap for her to escape detainment. Later, when they met at work, she also vows to bring him down.

One The Woman

“There’s no life experience that is utterly useless. It’s a matter of how well you use it in the future.”

With all the time in her hands, Yeon-ju is fired up to fight back against her opponents. But, it’s no easy thing since Sung-hye has Sauron’s eyes. Knowing that Secretary Jung is a trump card they need to defeat the villainess, they continue to press on him.

Making sure to cut her father’s movement, Sung-hye also ordered to harm Ms. Kim who was able to seek refuge from Seung-wook. He also received Chairman Han’s pen recorder bearing Sung-hye’s crimes.

One The Woman

Yeon-ju visits her father at the prison and gets a comforting message about her bleak situation. Thereafter, she meets Seung-wook to listen to the recording. Securing solid evidence to back them up, Seung-wook calls Lawyer Noh. However, he refuses to answer as he was set to meet Sung-hye.

It turns out that Lawyer Noh previously betrayed Seung-wook’s father as he was approached about the anomaly of Hanju Fashion’s accounting ledgers. At that same moment, Seung-wook meets his uncle who is left with no choice but to seek help from him to stop his daughter.

Offering a one-blow shot to stop his daughter, Seung-wook refuses to join hands and chides on his uncle’s greed. He also tells him that he already has the pen recorder proving his daughter’s misdeeds.

Team Yeon-ju huddles with a new member, Ms. Kim, to plan on taking down Sung-hye within a week before Yu-jun gets demoted. Lawyer Noh proposes to hold a press conference in which Yeon-ju’s imaginative mind expounds in detail.

However, her imagination did not turn into reality. On the day of Sung-hye’s inauguration party as new chairman, Lawyer Noh can’t be reached. When Sung-hye arrived, she approaches Yeon-ju to show the pen recorder as Lawyer Noh emerged from her car.

One The Woman Episode 15 Musings

We better expect a plot reversal in the finale episode of One The Woman. It better be, for the sake of the good times we had in the series. I still trust Lawyer Noh to live up to what Yeon-ju fondly calls him “double agent”. But the preview looks bleak.

Will Yeon-ju’s father’s advice in this episode work as a trump card for the team? Ultimately, the showdown between Yeon-ju and Sung-hye is forthcoming. We expect no less than pure justice to be served to the antagonist of the series.

There’s also no way Kang Mina will not serve her redeeming moment in the last episode. Hopefully, it’s satisfying enough, since I honestly was hoping for the “dual role” of Honey Lee, only to realize that it only faintly happened.
