One The Woman Episode 3 Key Moments
“Wait until I get my inheritance. You’ll all be dead.”
Yeon-ju assumes she was having an affair with Seung-wook and asks to be given a ride home. They talk about her wicked in-laws and vow that things won’t go their way. But Seung-wook reminds her that management right is not inherited. Given the ruckus she created, it will spread a rumor that Yumin group heiress is not in the right state of mind.
He advises her to be nice to Hanju group before the stakeholders’ meeting since her evil in-laws have the capacity to shield her.
“We must find Mi-na first. You said it yourself – we don’t know what Han-ju would do if they found out she’s not the real Kang Mi-na.”
Seung-wook settles in his new place and plans to find Mi-na with the help of Lawyer No. Back at the Han mansion, Yeon-ju busies herself with the assigned house chores while being whiney at her in-laws bossing her around. Determined to get her inheritance so she can solidify a ground for being sleep-deprived and a household puppet, Yeon-ju declares to attend the shareholders’ meeting.
Before heading to the meeting, she stops by the mall to pick up her sister-in-law’s ordered shoes, and the con man she previously met approached her. But noticing she does not recognize him, he excused himself for the intrusion. Yeon-ju also goes for a hypnosis session, but only saw fragments of memories that appear not to be of a daughter of a rich family.
“At that moment, I just knew – that I am not Kang Mi-na.”
Meanwhile, Seung-wook and Lawyer No visit the place where Yeon-ju had an accident. They decide to prioritize finding Mi-na and protecting Yeon-ju, because it will also protect Mi-na.
Against her doctor’s advice, Yeon-ju goes to the place where she had the accident and meets the gang she previously dealt with and her two uncles who have been tailing her but whom she can’t recognize.
Having an innate clever mind, she realizes that she is not heiress Kang Mi-na. Fighting by her instinct, Yeon-ju asks the gang members she’s pulverizing to tell who she is and gets the information that she’s a gang princess.
Meanwhile, Han Sung-hye connived with Mi-na’s aunt for the shareholders’ meeting of giving the management right to Mi-na. Fortunately, Seung-wook holds a major share in Yumin. Placing his shares on Mi-na, she secures the management right without further question.
“You say reclaim? Does that mean it was originally mine?”
After learning, she passed the management right, Yeon-ju decides to pretend to be the submissive and graceful Kang Mi-na. Seung-wook arrives at the Han mansion and remembers how he pleads with his uncle to help his mother’s family when he was young. At that time, his uncle refused to do so and walked away coldheartedly.
Using her aunt’s call to escape house chores, Yeon-ju heads out and sees Seung-wook coming in. Suspecting he’s stalking her, she mindlessly warns that she’s not a pushover and not to think of useless things against her.
Meeting his uncle after so many years, Seung-wook relayed his plans of continuing to invest in the country. Hanju Group CEO goes straight to the point and asks about his real objective.
CEO Han asks if he is up to getting Mi-na and reclaiming the company now that he is stronger. But Seung-wook responds by asking if his uncle means that all he mentioned are originally his. The two officially seal a war of who’s the strongest between them.
One The Woman Episode 3 Musings
Like Seung-wook, we have yet to find the mystery behind Mi-na’s disappearance. She really has a lot to answer so I hope we get to know her story soon. Using Yeon-ju as an escape route would sound boring, Mi-na collaborating with Yeon-ju would be more engrossing.
Other than that, Lee Sang Yoon’s vibe also piques interest because of how he’s quite radiant in this series. I’m sure we all noticed.
One The Woman is the easiest to recap among my selected coverage because it’s easy to get the significant scenes. The series cleverly injects humor at the right moment as well. Still, the presented driving point in the opening week holds how the story moves in the next episodes.
Interestingly, the spirited storytelling affirms its soaring ratings at 12.7% nationwide and 13.2% Seoul Metropolitan area just in its second week.
I really hope that Yeon-ju would follow her instinct and defends Mi-na’s stead in her own brilliant and devious ways. There’s really a unique and entertainment-worthy charm when she verbally fights back with her in-laws. More so, if she won’t hold back anymore.
We can already see her conspire with Seung-wook in bringing down the same family with members who are rotten to the core.
Inescapably, Yeon-ju’s disappearance will be tackled by the people closest to her. It was hinted in episode 10 preview that Prosecutor An paid a visit to her place.
Catch up on the fun and exciting heroine journey of a prosecutor pretending to be a rich heiress in One The Woman!
