Ghost Doctor Episode 13 Key Moments

“Dr. Ko has this strong desire to save Professor Cha. I’m sure you know that he was the one who found the solution.”

Following Seung Tak’s disappearance, Professor Cha’s operation is postponed since the CS department is already embroiled in conflict about the patient on whom Seung Tak operated.

Consequently, Dr. Jang confronts Chief Ban to ascertain why other doctors are not permitted to perform on Professor Cha’s operation. By informing Se Jin of Dr. Ko’s tremendous desire to save Young Min, it is perfectly acceptable to wait for his return, as he was the one who discovered the solution.

Se Jin informs Chief Bang that if the hospital is unable to schedule Professor Cha’s operation immediately, she would move him to the other hospital.

“You’re back, Ko Seung Tak. So I have to risk my life if I want to see you again. Look at that. That outfit looks familiar.”

Asking Tes to help him, Young Min finds a way to deflect Se Jin’s attention from him. In order for Seung Tak to come back, he sets up a situation that puts his own life in danger.

After Seung Tak’s arrival, Young Min just made matters worse by speaking harshly to him. Seung Tak even tells him that he regrets allowing Young Min to use his body, that he is weary of the hospital and the patients, and that he wishes he could return to his previous life.

Subsequently, Tes approaches Young Min and explains to him that Seung Tak came rushing to the hospital because he was worried about him and that he could’ve comforted him first, but instead uttered hurtful words to him. Apparently, Young Min seemed to have misread Tes’s counsel to him that he should rewire his brain or something related.

In response to his inquiry as to why Tes obtained Young Min’s body 12 years ago, Tes discloses to him that he, like Seung Tak, desired to save a patient’s life.

“For such times, doctors like us exist. What would happen if a doctor were to ignore a patient then?”

In a flashback 20 years ago, it depicts Tes when he was alive and was known as Dr. Oh. He does not turn away people in need of surgery and ensures that he and his colleagues do all possible to save a patient’s life. Unfortunately, Dr. Oh died, and it seems like the cause was the hospital’s excessive workload.

He was discovered not breathing in his office by a hospital staff member, and Tes was on the verge of leaving the living realm when Seung Tak and his father rushed to the hospital. When Seung Tak’s father arrived, he was already gone, and Seung Tak was in critical condition.

Ghost Doctor Episode 13 Musings

Ghost Doctor episode 13 reveals significant events in a doctor’s life and the limitations imposed by their profession. The most recent episode demonstrates that they make every effort to save people’s lives.

That is why doctors give their all in the hope that the patients they rescue outnumber those they lose.

Notably, Seung Tak is not to blame for the patient’s death; the patient was already a lost cause before he opened him up. However, we have to appreciate how this episode emphasizes Seung Tak’s intention to save the patient’s life to the farthest extent possible, which makes us consider how much of a genuine doctor he is.

Furthermore, when Seung Tak’s presence is gone, the series’ villains use this as a chance to compel Dr. Ahn to return to the hospital and do the same act he did to the Chairman.

As the series nears its conclusion, our concerns for Young Min’s survival only intensify, as we are uncertain whether a miracle will adhere to its storyline. There is so much to see and witness in each episode of Ghost Doctor‘s upbringing of meaningful lessons and realizations, and we are ultimately here for it.
