Whether you are making your first trip to the land of Hallyu or you’ve treated it as a place for your yearly pilgrimage, Seoul Day Tours are must-haves for your dream Korea vacation.
As an avid K-Drama fan, my trips to South Korea were mostly influenced by places I saw in the dramas. Today, I’m going to share the best places you can visit in Seoul where Korean dramas had been filmed.
Be camera-ready so you can snap some photos that are Instagram-worthy. Ideally, Seoul Day tours would gift you the best of both traditional and modern worlds.
Time-Travel From Joseon To Japanese Occupation
Seoul houses grand palaces that you should not miss out in your Seoul day tours. With its picturesque vistas, elaborated architecture and stunning landscapes, strolling on the palace grounds is surely an experience that will get you closer to Korean culture and nature.
With such massive space, it might be a bit daunting if you will visit all palaces in one day. So divide and conquer, so you can also do activities or visit the quaint neighborhoods in the vicinity of the palaces.
Samcheongdong, Insadong and Bukchon Hanok village are perennial favorites for K-Drama shooting sites both in period and contemporary dramas. Cafes, shops and unique houses or building facades would ring a bell while walking in these neighborhoods.
That includes dramas The Third Charm, Go Back Couple, Oh Master!, Another Miss Oh, Personal Preference, Misaeng, True Beauty, The Legend of Blue Sea, More Than Friends, Run On, Our Beloved Summer, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Goblin and more.
Accordingly, Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Gyeonghuigung and Deoksugung, likewise, are expected places that decorated a few well-loved historical series.

Lotte World
The lively world’s largest indoor theme park is never to be missed if traveling to Seoul. As a perfect place to highlight K-Drama couple’s fun dates, the recreation center has been featured in numerous romance series, even the classic and most recent ones.
Stairway to Heaven, One Fine Day, The Greatest Love, Love Alarm, True Beauty, Our Beloved Summer and Business Proposal are some popular dramas captured in this fun-filled haven.
TIP: While at Lotte World, visit the National Folk Museum and learn a lot about Korean history.
Cheonggyecheon Stream
Spanning west to east in downtown Seoul, the stream is great for leisure walks and has since adorned memorable scenes in Korean dramas. It was featured in Vincenzo, Lovestruck in the City, Do You Like Brahms?, My Mister, Suits, My Golden Life, Five Enough, Something Happened in Bali and more.
Seoul Grand Park + Seoulland
This massive park is apt for a memorable family adventure. Inside the big park complex is a regular zoo, a children’s zoo and a rose garden. Another adorable theme park, Seoulland, is also inside the park.
Seoul Grand Park was highlighted in dramas Her Private Life, 18 Again, Hotel Del Luna, Come and Hug Me and Boys Over Flowers.
Meanwhile, Seoulland would look familiar to viewers who saw When My Love Blooms, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Strong Girl Bong Soon, She Was Pretty and Princess Hours.
N Seoul Tower
The mojito at N Seoul Tower has been mentioned in K-Dramas and for a good reason. This popular spot is always included in the must-visit Seoul places in various blogs.
For K-Drama fans, we’ve seen lip-locks and breakups happen in K-Dramaland at Namsan Tower.
Aside from the observatory tower, the plaza is a scenic spot of its own. There you can find the roof terrace where the famous “locks of love” can be found. When you go to the lobby, the perky Alive Museum can be visited. Souvenir shops and food choices make N Seoul Tower an ideal final stop for your Seoul Day Tours.
A slew of Korean dramas featured N Seoul Tower including Now We Are Breaking Up, Imitation, The School Nurse Files, My Secret Terrius, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, The Legend of the Blue Sea, A Korean Odyssey, Boys Over Flowers and more.
Soon, we will pack our bags to visit K-Dramaland. Make sure you include these tried and tested happy places to reminisce your favorite Korean dramas!
Yeouido Park
During spring, locals and travelers flock to Yeouido park for a spectacular view of cherry blossoms. As it is nearby the Han river, you can also take advantage of the Han river cruise or visit the 63 Art and Aqua Planet 63.
According to Visit Korea website, Yeouido is the heart of banking and finance, politics and media. Correspondingly, love-themed dramas that were shot in the area abound. To name a few, these are Monthly Magazine Home, The King: Eternal Monarch, My Love From The Star and A Gentleman’s Dignity.
