Coming Up: January 2022 Korean Dramas
Ghost Doctor | Jan 03 | tvN
- Streaming Site: iQiyi | Viu
Ghost Doctor is a drama that illustrates the medical world – but with a dash of supernatural and a sprinkle of action. It narrates the story of a brilliant doctor Cha Young-min (Jung Ji Hoon). He is a thoracic surgeon possessing immense medical talent and could save patients with a single touch.
However, contrary to the typical selfless and kind main character, we get an egoistical and conceited male lead whose demeanor and appearance differ from the usual main characters with a superhero complex.
On the other hand, Ko Seung-tak (Kim Bum) is a gutsy privileged resident doctor. Ko Seung-tak is quite a peculiar character. Born in a family of medical practitioners, his vast medical knowledge intimidates professors.
Yet ironically, he often displays a bemused countenance. Despite the contrasting backgrounds of Seung-tak and Young-min, the two characters’ lives get entangled because of a fateful accident.
