Strong Girl Nam Soon | Oct 7 | JTBC

Strong Girl Nam Soon broadens the worldview of the 2017 JTBC hit series Strong Girl Bong Soon. It is regarded as the first series to feature the first female superhero in a Korean drama.

The spinoff focuses on a drug crime story in Gangnam among Bong-soon’s relatives: cousin Nam-soon and her mother Geum-ju and grandmother Joong-gan.

In the drama, Kim Jung Eun portrays Geum-ju, a well-off mother who has lived a life burning with a sense of justice. She has obsessively done good things with a driven attitude to find her lost daughter.

Squid Game star and rising actress Lee Yoo Mi plays Nam-soon, Geum-ju’s daughter in the story. Seasoned actress Kim Hae Sook suits up as Nam-soon’s grandmother Gil Joong-gan. All of them have the super-strength ability passed on from their ancestors on the mother’s side.


A Good Day To Be A Dog | Oct 11 | MBC

Adapted from the Naver webtoon of the same name, A Good Day To Be A Dog revolves around Han Hae-na (Park Gyu-young), a seemingly ordinary high school teacher, who lives with her family’s curse of turning into a dog after a kiss. The only way to break the curse is if she kisses the same man again while she’s in the form of a dog. 

The catch? The only one who can break the spell, Seo-won (Cha Eun-woo), is deathly afraid of dogs. Watch on to see if Hae-na can successfully lift the curse in this quirky K-drama. 


My Dearest Part 2 | Oct 13 | MBC

Castaway Diva narrates the story of Mok-ha, a woman who dreams of becoming a diva but gets stranded on an uninhabited island.

Backed up by Baram Pictures and Kakao Entertainment, the series also boasts a brilliant creative team. Leading the production is Director Oh Choong Hwan of Big Mouth and Hotel Del Luna fame. Penning the script is Park Hye Ryun who wrote heartwarming and inspiring dramas such as Dream High and Pinocchio.

Perfect Marriage Revenge | Oct 28 | MBN

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Perfect Marriage Revenge is a gripping melodrama where Han Yi-joo (Jung Yoo-min), unloved by her family, gets a second chance at life after a tragic accident.
